Active Shooter Survival Training for Your Organization
Certified A.L.I.V.E. instruction and facility risk assessments for Maryland workplaces, schools, hospitals, houses of worship, and government offices — delivered online, by webinar, or on site.
Let’s Get Started!
Training Built for the Real World
Each program uses the same A.L.I.V.E. method, adapted to how your building, your people, and your risks actually work.

Assess
Read the room — where is the threat, and what’s the safest response right now?
Leave
Escape first whenever it’s possible, and help others get out too.
Impede
If you can’t leave, put time and distance between yourself and the threat — barricade, block, buy seconds.
Violence
As an absolute last resort, commit fully.
Expose
When it’s over, carefully assess before showing your position.

A Plan for the First Few Minutes
Most organizations have a plan for a fire. Far fewer have given their people a decision framework for the first few minutes of a violent-threat event — the window before law enforcement can arrive.
A.L.I.V.E. (Assess · Leave · Impede · Violence · Expose) closes that gap with a simple, memorable method that staff, volunteers, and leadership can actually use under pressure.
Every organization is different — a hospital’s exit routes aren’t a church’s, and a city council meeting isn’t a classroom. Train & Protect builds each session and each facility assessment around your real building, your real roles, and your real risk profile.
