We offer professional certification-level training programs that specialize in Conceal Carry for Maryland and home defense with additional courses on out-of-home defense and individual training. We also provide several non-firearms courses such as first aid, CPR and situational/self-awareness classes.
Our Mission
We believe in the honest citizen’s right to firearms. We also believe it is the duty of all law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their loved ones from the predatory criminals that walk the streets today. To teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for carrying, using, and storing firearms safely. We will accomplish this by providing a comfortable learning environment, in small groups or private settings, with certified and caring instructor(s).
About Ron Colbert
I have been teaching and coaching for many years. As a Train & Protect Instructor, my goal is to educate and inform, as well as grow by competing and continuing my own education and training as an instructor.
My father instilled in me that to be a great teacher, you need the will to continue growing. This has been my code for over 40 years and still going:
